No idea but since you brought up the subject of tune ids somebody asked about the remix of The Walk by The Cure.

That was me, I don't suppose you know what remix it was?

I also asked Twitch about Number one Ensemble - Back to Heaven.

Oh, and while we're talking remixes... does anyone know if was it a released version of Shirley Ellis Clapping Song that was played or an Optimo creation?

Thanks!

I'd also like to ask about that version of 'your love' by jamie principle that was played. I think its an edit of some sort, asked about it a while back and I think it was gonna be released soon? Any word?

the mix of the walk was this -

http://www.discogs.com/Cure-Close-To-Me-The-Walk/release/89957

the clapping song is an unreleased edit of a cover version by pia zadora.

the jamie principle was just a loop of the synth intro and another of the bassline that was mixed in for about a minute.

not sure what the moroder was.

i think i may have mislead you with this one mozza, my drunk brain thought the tune you were asking about was munich machine but i think it was space - magic fly or it could have been the felix da housecat version. also there is an underdog edit of your love that came out a wee while ago which is quite nice and i think have heard at optimo before

the kebekeletrik version of magic fly was released before the space version. it's on casablanca, home to donna summer and lipps inc. the space version was on pye records which looked black vinyl until you held it up to a light source to find out it was deep deep red.

I can confirm that this is true for the album (I have just checked). I'll get my dad to check the 7" which was one of favourites when I was wee.

[edit]Not that I doubted you, I just didn't know if you meant single or album[/edit]
