nah, it's got to be the shirelles version of it.

The Beatles introduced me to it, but it's got to be the shirelles.

However:

Johnny Jenkins-Walk on Guilded Splinters

& I have just read Gene Wilders 'Kiss Me Like A Stranger' in a day,
so I guess today I have been mostly loving that too.

is dr john - walk on guilded splinters not one of the most sampled tunes ever?

The version on 'Ultimate Breaks & Beats' is the Johnny Jenkins Version, & has been sampled numerous times.

It's also been covered by the great , the good & Paul Weller [who pretty much ripped the Johnny Jenkins version -but just made it a little more shit- for his cover]

In my humble -but entirely correct- opinion, Dr John's Gris Gris is one of the greatest LPs of all time. Every home should have one.

His theme tune to popular 90's after tea-time teen sit-com Blossom is also a masterpiece.

Wink

Tonight, on a very special episode of Blossom, David Barbarossa gets a lobotomy

'Hypnodance' is a belter.
As is 'Dancing Machine'.

I'm led to believe that one of Who's Who is the dad of one of Daft Punk.
Fact fans!

In my opinionation it's pure sonic gold.
