Hi folks,

I said I'd play some tunes at an upcoming party and am looking for some suggestions of disco to play. Been listening to morgan geist "unclassics" alot recently, and really like the James Murphy & Pat Mahoney Fabriclive. I'm looking for kinda wonky/funky disco stuff for want of a better description. Particularly stuff that is driven by the hi hat pattern, if that makes sense. Any suggestions?

Also planning to play classics like Chic etc

Any help appreciated

try and get the mix of twitch at melting pot. i played it at a party last saturday when i needed a break and it was just pure crazy dancing fun and games from then on.

by the way: does anyone know which version of kim wilde - you keep me hanging on is played in the melting pot mix? a private rare optimo edit?

I don't know but it's a Supremes song originally. Kim Wilde covered it.

i think i answered my own question regarding the cover of "you keep me hanging on". it seems to be a cover by Dave Matthews and Whirlwind.
