Worthy of dragging up again and no mistake, don't get me wrong, I don't have much of a clue what to expect but I know I will feel better for having attended.
The List:
"13 Most Beautiful . . . Songs for Andy Warhol's Screen Tests
Musicians Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips were commissioned by the Andy
Warhol Museum to create soundtracks for 13 of Warhol's famous Screen Tests, which they will perform live at this multimedia event. Among the films they selected are those featuring Edie Sedgwick, Dennis Hopper and Lou Reed.
Their music has been compared to that of the latter's band, the Velvet Underground, and provides a potent intensification of these already highly emotional pieces."
L. Hutton. Next Big Thing:
"I know it takes a bit of effort to go off the beaten track but I really must insist that you make said attempt at getting along to "13 Most Beautiful...." There are all too few genuine special events anymore and I'm not saying that this fine production won't return to the UK, or Scotland for that matter sometime down the pike but it's unlikely to be anywhere near as groovy as this.
Summon the energy and support something that isn't a travelling medicine show designed to fleece you. This is a shindig that you won't ever forget so make the pilgrimage from wherever you are in Scotland. Or further afield, you’ll have a ball."

I think they're after my job at the Times....
They were in Luna, whom I haven't heard, he was in Galaxy 500, whom I haven't heard and she was the voice of the Jem cartoon character whom I have neither seen nor heard but she looks magic for being of a certain age.
There's a version of a tune, "You turn my head around" on the yachoob, as good to look at as it is to hear but I can't post a link at the minute and I would appreciate it if someone could post the version by Lee Hazlewood and Ann Margret from an album called "The Cowboy and the Lady"
Someone went to the bother of bringing this here, like Optimo snaring Throbbing Gristle and whoever it was that brought the likes of Wanda Jackson here they are deserving of our support.
As for bananas, you get them in Fyffe but I'll ask nicely and get you as many hands as you like.
Road trip beckons, take care.
