Thursday 24th April will see the BBC Introducing Tour roll into Glasgow and bashing on the Sub Club's door. Curated by Annie Nightingale, this nationwide show will be bringing to you the best in established big hitters from the breaks, beats and electronic scene alongside those names you should know about and will probably hear a lot more of in the future.

Annie Nightingale is the 1st Lady of Radio 1 and the longest serving presenter on the station. Her career has been marked by many honours including an MBE from the Queen, numerous awards for her radio show at The Breakspoll award ceremonies and the highest respect for dedication to underground club music from her peers and club kids alike. She has always played and enthused about underground and new music, and through her championing of breakbeat, she is now known as Queen Of Breaks. She djs at clubs and festivals all over the world, with concomitant scrapes and adventures. She has been bugged in Russia, drugged in Iraq and mugged in Cuba, the last with nearly fatal consequences. She'll be treating us to her personal selection of DJs as well as a DJ set packed full of exclusives and dance floor bangers, showing us why she has become the tastemaker she is.

Utah Saints are back! They may have slipped off the radar for those in the mainstream but since their high point in the mid 90s they have been making massive strides to establish themselves as two of the most respected DJs working today. Their scene defining Sugarbeat parties have treated Leeds, London and Edinburgh to a monthly smash up of dance floor dynamics, taking in breaks, electro, house, techno and anything else that is sure to make you move. Their current single 'Something Good 2008' is riding high in both the charts and the playlists of the biggest DJs on the planet. They are set for stellar success with a slew of anthems ready to be released. Watch this space as anytime now they'll be far too big for a stage like this.

This tour is dedicated to introducing the people of the UK to exciting new music and with DJs Bradley C and Defcon 1 you will have little problem finding that blasting from the speakers. Residents at Chew The Fat!, the UK's biggest and baddest breaks and electro events they have been ruling the roost north of the border for the last 18 months. They'll be going back 2 back to warm up proceedings in perfect style.
