Does anybody want to join me in going to their head office and blowing the bastards up?

I just noticed that the presets are playing in king tuts in march, so went on the king tuts site and it linked me to ticketmaster for tickets...

Tickets cost 8 each. So I selected 2 tickets, 16 in total.

Then 'processing fee' of 1.45 applies on EACH ticket...

Then 2.25 to have them sent out by STANDARD MAIL.

2.25! WHIT!

So I selected 'box office pick up'...2.25 for that too!

Fucking scum.

So in total I would be paying 5.15 on top of the price of the tickets.

Total cost = 21.15

In effect I would be paying about 30% MORE than the cost of the tickets ... for no apparent reason.

I FUCKING HATE THEM SOOOO MUCH!

p.s i am just gonnae buy them direct from the box office in king tuts.

Yep. I've stopped using online ticket agencies unless it's a dire emergency. I usually just head to Tickets Scotland. You still have to pay the booking pay but at least that's the end of it.

G: Yeah, it should be more housey.

Isn't that the only way they make money anyway?

I've been looking into ticketing a night planned, and my understanding is that a club night / gig gets the ticket money & any money they add on top is theirs. By that logic, I'm not surprised it amounts to such mental amounts.

People are prepared to pay that amount though without thinking anything of it - particularly given the current climate where events sell out well in advance.
